Point 1
高速のダブルスフェリオン
パーネルがエリック・クドレと共同開発し、2017年に発表した“スフェリオン”。既存の3軸トゥールビヨンよりも高速回転することで、より効果的に重力の誤差を補正して精度を高める。これがダブルで逆方向に回転するさまは、視覚的な魅力にもあふれる。
Point 2
古典的なポッター脱進機
19世紀に活躍した時計師アルバート・H・ポッターの名に由来する脱進機。ガンギ車をケージの外に配置し、通常の可動式ではなく固定式のガンギ車を採用することにより、高速でケージを回転させることが可能に。なお、3つのケージはそれぞれ回転速度が異なる。
Point 3
ケージに宝石をセッティング
ケースに326個のバゲットダイヤモンド、文字盤に46個のバゲットダイヤモンドと11個のブルーサファイアをセット。さらに、各スフェリオンの外側のケージにも計304個のブリリアントダイヤモンドをあしらった。ケージに宝石を施したモデルは世界初となる。
