Point 1
2つのテンプは互いに共振
共振は、2つの固有振動数が極めて近似値でなければ起こらない。レゾナンスの2つのテンプの振動差は、6姿勢で1日累計5秒以内に歩度調整されている。それぞれが元来もつ高精度は、共振で慣性モーメントが増してより安定し、衝撃を受けた際の乱れも改善する。
Point 2
1秒周期のルモントワール
ルモントワール・デガリテは、1991年に完成した、彼の代表的な機構の1つ。香箱で直接駆動せず、一度バネに蓄え一定周期で放出した力で動かしトルクを均一化する。他社の多くは同機構にゼンマイを用いるが、板バネにすることで小型化し、トルクロスも減少させた。
Point 3
2つの輪列を1つの香箱で駆動
2つの輪列を1つの香箱で動かすよう改良したのに伴い、駆動を振り分けるディファレンシャルギアが追加された。その構造は他社とは異なり、同軸上に置いた各輪列の駆動車それぞれに備わる傘車の間をピニオンギアで連結する、自動車のデフと同じ仕組みを採る。
