この機構が凄い！
Point 1
ワン ミニット フライング カルーセル
2008年、ブランパンは19世紀にあったカルーセル機構を改良し、腕時計に搭載。それ以前のカルーセルは、ガンギ車の駆動車を収めるために、キャリッジとテンプは同軸にできなかった。それを同軸に仕立て、さらに60分以上かかっていた回転を1分にまで短縮した。
Point 2
作動音がしないフライングガバナー
リピーターの打鐘速度を一定にするガバナーを、2つの細長い錘を板バネでつないだ構造に。専用ゼンマイの巻き戻り速度が変わると、ガバナーに伝わる遠心力も変わる。2つの錘はそれに応じて板バネが備わる間の距離を伸縮させて慣性モーメントを変え、調速をする。
Point 3
30分積算をセンター同軸に
センター同軸の30分積算計用のインデックスを、チャプターリングに置く。分積算計針は、秒針より短くし、また先端を赤く染めることで、視覚的に切り分けた。垂直クラッチの自動巻きクロノグラフは、ブランパン・マニュファクチュールのお家芸である。
