【Guide_4】The Hit Factory (353 W 48th Street) 〜ジョンの暗殺前の遺作の収録地、「ザー・ヒットファクトリー」〜
The location where John recorded his last album with Yoko, “Double Fantasy” (recorded from August 7th – September 20th 1980), a mere three months before his murder. The original recording studio changed locations in the 90’s but then closed. There is still a recording studio on the top two floors of the building by another name. Eyewitnesses at the studio remember John leaving, mere hours before his murder on December 8, 1980.
ジョンの暗殺の３ヶ月前に遺作となった「ダブルファンタシー」を収録した場所（1980年8月7日から9月20日まで）。元のレコーディングスタジオは’90年代に引っ越してから程なく閉まりました。現在の建物の上２階部分はまだ他のレコーディングスタジオがあります。スタジオ関係者によると、あの夜（1980年12月8日）暗殺の数時間前にジョンはスタジオを後にしたとのことです。
