Started by Jim Kaufman’s father in 1938, this is New York City’s oldest continually operating military surplus store, located a five minute walk away from where Lennon recorded at The Hit Factory. Its known that in many TV Interviews and in public, Lennon often wore old military clothes as a part of his peace movement. Its conceivable that Lennon could have at least poked his head into such a place at some time or other. Here you can find used military clothes, and if there is something you cannot see, Jim will source it for you!
