【Guide_2】Smith’s Bar (701 8th Ave at 44th Street) 〜ジョンが通ったと言われる、ハンバーガーショップ「スミス・バー」〜
John reportedly loved eating the hamburgers here. Conveniently located four blocks south of where he recorded at The Hit Factory, its easy to imagine him walking there. Like much of the surrounding neighborhood, the bar has undergone renovations, losing a lot of its original decor. What does remain are the original neon signs outside and the delicious burger produced by their kitchen.
噂によると、ジョンはここでハンバーガーを食べるのが大好きだったそうです。「ヒットファクトリー」という収録スタジオから南に歩いて４ブロックほどのところにあったので、歩いて通うのにも便利だったのでしょう。 後に周囲の多くの地区と同様にこのバーも改装工事がされ、元々の装飾の数多くが失われてしまいました。残っているのは、当時のネオンサインと、キッチンで作られた美味しいハンバーガーだけです。
